The world is not German: not structured, reliable or punctual. On the contrary, it is full of surprises – it is colourful, chaotic, challenging, but we wouldn’t want it any other way.
We are now in the 4th generation of fruit trading, so I think it’s fair to say we feel at home in the fruit market by now. We take pride in recruiting members of our team from around the world, ensuring we have a native speaker from all the countries that we buy from and supply to, around the world.
It is one thing to speak the language but to understand the culture and the mentality of their own people is something that cannot be taught. Not only do our guys understand their own people, but they are also able to understand adversity faced on the ground level. This is exactly why we can work so reliably despite everything – because we have internalized the chaos of the world in our DNA for generations and understand how to deal with it.
