Even though Don Limón itself has only been around for 8 years, our experience goes back over 60 years: In 1952 the family business Pilz Schindler was founded in Hamburg, and ever since then it has been growing as fast as limes in Mexico. The company is now being run by the third generation of the family, and over the years, the little fruit stand at the Hamburg Wholesale Market has turned into a global company: Don Limón – even with some of its own production and packaging sites.
The fruit stand at the Hamburg Wholesale Market is still there. It just isn’t very small anymore.
