This year’s Indian Grape season was a success from our point of view and we reached our targets. The market conditions from last season as well as the not optimal weather conditions during the months of grow led to a more negative forecast for the season. But due to our advanced planning we increased our volumes. Important for the success of the grape season were the supermarket programs as well as diverse wholesale markets who helped us selling the delicious grapes all over Europe. To stabilize our production of grapes and to increase out volume we are planning to build a new Packinghouse facility in India.
During the same season we also imported three containers of pomegranates from India. The high demand and our customers satisfaction with the quality of the variety Bhagwa affirmed our intention and we expect to sell between eight and ten containers during the next season.
